The first 12-V air conditioner for motorhomes only supplied by the auxiliary battery. In comparison to solutions operated with 230 V, this 12 V system eliminates the need to install a converter or auxiliary generator. Thanks to the Softstart, the air conditioner has a very low starting current. Moreover, we recommend the installation of a charging booster (such as item no. 322/498). The system has been designed for roof installation in the sleeping area, cooling and de-humidifying the interior of campers and camper vans with an overall length of up to 6 m. This increases the comfort at stops and for sleeping, keeps up the perfect temperature while on the road and ensures the ideal cold distribution in the vehicle. A timer and the included remote control additionally increase the operating comfort. A battery guard (e.g. item no. 322/162) can optionally be connected.
