For vehicle combinations (e.g. cars and caravans) with a total weight of more than 3,500 kg or a total length of more than 12 m, especially in Spain, a marking of the vehicle rear with a standard rear marking according to ECE 70 is required since 2011. This is intended to make subsequent traffic aware of a long overtaking distance. These fluorescent warning plate stickers must be applied at a distance of 50 to 150 cm from the ground.
